When I first when down this path, I thought other companies were price gouging, and deliberately hiking up the price of using their software.
So, like a LOON, I promised I’d make my platform super-inexpensive.
I “righteously” told everyone I knew, I’d only be charging a single, one off payment to use my platform.
Knowing what I know now, it’s impossible for me to make it that cheap for everyone.
I’d be out of cash faster than a fat kid in a candy store!
BUT - I’ve done the math, and for 5-short days only I’m going to take a big hit.
Yes, it’ll sting a bit. My accountant won’t speak to me for a week.
But for these first few days I’m making the platform available for a single one-off payment…
After that, I’ve got no choice but to flip to a subscription model to make the whole product viable.
